The Martin County Health Department has been notified that we have (2) two more positive patients in the county.
We received information that we have 1 female and 1 male positive in the county. The positive cases have been contacted and have been placed in isolation as is directed. All positive cases will be asked for contact information and all of these people will be notified to quarantine for 14 days. Only those people that were in direct contact with the positive case for 10 to 30 minutes are the only people that will be quarantined.
We are sorry to report that we have had the first death in the county related to Covid-19. Please pray for that family.

MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – One county in our region is reporting its first COVID-19 death.
On Tuesday, the Martin County Health Department announced the county’s first COVID-19 death.
No further information has been released at this time.
The health department also announced two additional cases of COVID-19. The two active cases are one male and one female.
The county has reported a total of 28 cases.
