Tolsia Baseball Head Coach Jeff Wallace
“… This is our 5th year and it has grown some every year, But this year is different, some places have canceled scrambles until July and others till August so we expect a big turnout this Saturday.”
“ I talked to the owner, Donnie Nelson, two weeks and and he said we would give it a shot as long as the governor don’t shut it down. Plus getting the word out to people has been tough, then answering the “mask” questions as well. A lot of those I have had to tell people if you feel safe with one wear it if you feel safe without then don’t wear it and I had one guy who don’t feel safe at all and I told him to stay home he was beginning to worry me.”
“… We always have a good time and we feed everybody when it’s over, then give away door prizes and a few other prizes as well.”
“… Then next month we will be having our big annual Father’s Day softball tournament just this year it won’t be the day before Father’s Day. Last year’s Champs “Block’s Bombers” looking to defend their title they upset the defending champs, who by the way won every year except last year, and are looking for pay back! Should be another exciting weekend, too. These two fundraisers are huge for our program and we won’t to thank everyone that has participated in either event the last four years.”
