On this Memorial Day Weekend in Frankfort we pay tribute to our friend Charles S. Jones of Lawrence Co.

Warrant Officer Charles S. Jones of Louisa

I would like to honor everyone on this Memorial Day 2020 with all that is going on. I mainly want to thank the ones that served in the military to keep our Country Free, so many did not make it back home and that is what this special honor is for. Thank you all for a job well done and have a great Memorial Day.

Some of the pictures are of the moving Memorial Wall that was in Ironton, Ohio a few years ago. My brother W.O. Charles S. Jones name was on this wall. I wanted you to see it and thank you very much for all that you have done.

Fred, you and Charles will be remember for ever by me. You are a little younger than me but I remember you playing basketball in the sixth grade for Louisa Grade School. We have talked about Charles and what my Dad thought of him. He was a great athlete and wonderful friend.
I hope to see you at LHS reunion next year the good Lord willing.
