‘THE COVE’ GRAND OPENING IS FRIDAY AT 10:00AM
Don’t miss out on the summer fun. It’s finally summertime and time to have some fun in the sun. One of Lawrence Counties Favorite places is The Cove located on the Marina Side of Yatesville Lake at 606 Beach Rd. Louisa, Ky. It has something to offer any outdoor enthusiast and a beach for relaxing.
The Cove will have its GRAND OPENING on June 28 Friday, 2019. The new owners have put a lot of time and effort into the upgrades such as the bathrooms, parking and added new water park inflatables.
They will still have kayak rentals; shelter rentals and seasonal water park passes available. Winners for their grand opening celebration will be announced on Thursday the 27th. On Legend Outfitter’s Facebook page, they made this announcement, “We’re hoping to open this coming Friday at 10am (weather permitting).

The beach is filled with music, a huge inflatable water slide, volleyball, corn hole sets, a grill/concession stand, and more. Highly trained open water lifeguards on staff! Later we’re planning a huge 4th of July beach party to celebrate this fine country (details posted later). Also, an updated list of amenities and pricing coming soon. It’s so beautiful here. We’ve worked so hard and done so many upgrades. We hope everyone young and old will enjoy it and make lasting memories. We hope you love it as much as we do. Now, if only Mother Nature will cooperate and let us play!

At those prices, I’ll have to cancel my family’s trip to the real beach to afford a day at the Cove. Sad
Charging to go swimming in a public lake and not use any of the toys or boats and such is awful. You can rent a shelter at Greenbo for 100.00 all day. But leave it to Lawrence county greedy bunch
*** if we could bring our own food & pop , these prices wouldn’t be that bad . Especially a party package , smh can’t even bring pizza for the party !!! These prices need to lower some or you won’t have many visitors 🙁
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! We used to go a couple times a week but now we won’t be able to afford to go as often. 5.00 just to sit in sand while the kids beg to get on the inflatables when we don’t have the money … NO THANKS!
The prices is outrageous!
You can go to the zoo and back for that price..
Who is in charge of this is what I’d like to know. – absolutely crazy! Who can afford this!?
#overpriced
Im a single mom of 3 an work at McDonalds for mid wage. So looks like me an my children will never lay eyes on the only fun thing for younge children to enjoy in this town i guaranty the owners not once thought about the low income familys that will never get the chance to enjoy this or the children. That will begg to go an get disapointed. When they get told. We cant afford it an the parents that will lay awake at night in shame feel like crap because they cant. Spare. It. We matter too our kids like fun an swining an waterparks too. This place wont last long this is a low income comunty. Thanks alot wish id seem prices befor i showed my children the. Picture
Wish i would of seen the prices befor i showed my children the park. Im single mother of 3 an work at McDonalds me an my children will never be able to enjoy this place. This is a low income comunty think of how meany family will never get to even see this place an tell me what kind of mother would i be in my kids eyes if i only had enough for beach part and they had to watch all the other kids enjoy the water park. You try explaining to a 4 an 5 year old that you dont have 48 dollars. For a water park because you barly had the 5 to spare for just beach. They wouldnt understand. Only be mad at me an upset. With me. So not only will we not be able to afford water park but now i wont even be able to take them to the beach without feeling gulty
Honestly, this is outrageous!!! Wanted to go here for the summer, now I gotta make other plans!!! Wrong pricing for the area it is in…….SMH.. I feel bad for the kids. Honestly could go do so much more with my money than this….Such a let down!!!
There is money to be made here for all those guys with these fancy bass boats, and pontoons. These people could take others who like to fish or pulled on a float for a day at a flat rate per person.
The Cove, could make more money for a flat rate of $2 all day per person. Kayaking dropped 50% per hour. Management wants to be a big hit at big prices at free lake lol.
This bunch won’t be in business long.
