COLOR BLAZE FUN RUN FOR A CURE 5K SEPT. 22
A color blaze 5K will be held on Saturday September 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm, in downtown Louisa. All proceeds will benefit the family of Dustin Chicko, who is currently undergoing cancer treatments. This event is a great way to give back, help out a local family, and have some fun. Lace up your shoes and come out to support a great cause!
There will sign-ups until race time. If you want a shirt and race kit you must register by September 7th. To register contact Mitch Castle either on Facebook, or at 606-367-1112. This is the second year Castle has organized this run and is expecting another great turnout.
“It’s amazing that we’ve been able to pull together again this year to help another family in need. Last year we were all #ScottStrong and this year we’re #ChickoStrong,” Castle said. “Our community is just unbelievable and there is truly no place like Louisa. We have over 100 participants registered and we’re hoping for 200 by race day.”
