Several cases reset for next week
The courtroom was full for Circuit Court on Friday, July 8. Plea deals from the Commonwealth saw defendants changing to guilty pleas involving charges varying from Manufacturing Methamphetamine to first Degree Assault.
Elizabeth Green, 46 was present for arraignment on Fraudulent Use of ID Card of Electronic Code for Benefits. Defendant entered a not guilty plea and her pretrial date was set for 8-12-1
Justin Harless, 28 was present on Manufacturing Methamphetamine, 1st offense. Defendant entered a plea of guilt based on Commonwealth’s offer and final sentencing will be held on 8-12-16.
Diane Lemasters, 55 entered a guilty plea based on Commonwealth’s offer and was final sentenced on charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st offense, and Trafficking Marijuana, less than 8 oz. 1st offense. Defendant was ordered to be released as soon as home incarceration was implemented.
Robert Locklear, 44 was present on Flagrant Non Support. Case was reset for re-arraignment for 7-22-16.
Justin Marcum, 29 entered a not guilty plea on charges of Complicity of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd degree, 1st offense. A public defender was appointed and pretrial was set for 8-12-16.
Stephen Salyers, 47 was present to have his hearing reset for 7-22-16 on charges of Complicity Manufacture Methamphetamine, Complicity to Trafficking In a Controlled Substance, 1st offense, Complicity 1st Degree Possession of Cs/Cocaine, Complicity Drug Paraphernalia, and Persistent Felony Offender.
Jamie Slone, 39 case reset for 7-22-16 on charges of Complicity Manufacture Methamphetamine, Complicity 1st degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Complicity Drug Paraphernalia and Persistent Felony Offender.
Melissa Thompson, 40 entered a guilty plea based on an offer of Commonwealth on Charges of Manufacture Methamphetamine, 1st offense. Final Sentencing will be 8-12-16.
Michael Wilks, 40 was present for a Felony Probation Revocation hearing. Case was reset 7-22-16.
Jeremy Fleshman, 36 entered plea of guilty based on offer of Commonwealth. Final sentencing to be held on 8-12-16 on charges of receiving stolen property less than 10,000.
Kevin Music, 38 entered a plea of guilty based on offer of Commonwealth on charges of 2 counts of Complicity of Burglary. and Complicity Possession of Burglary Tools. Final sentencing will be 8-12-16.
Scott Fisher, 45 was present to enter a guilty plea based on Commonwealth’s offer on charges of 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, 2nd Degree and Persistent Felony Offender.
On separate cases Defendant also entered guilty plea based on Commonwealth’s offer on charges of Tampering w/ Prisoner Monitoring device, 2nd Degree Escape and Persistent Felony Offender. Final sentencing will be on 8-12-16.
Alexis Carter, 26 Was present on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine) and Drug Paraphernalia. Defendant entered a guilty plea based on Commonwealth’s offer and will be final sentenced on 8-12-16.

In a separate case Mills has charges of Complicity Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Complicity Trafficking in Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled Substance, Complicity Drug Paraphernalia, and Persistent Felony Offender. All charges were set for the same future date.
