Fire & Ice and the Louisa Lakers remain unbeaten…. Eric Arnett leads the way for the Pipeliners again with 36 points in a close win over the Slayers…. Triple Threat continues to be a victim of what some experts believe to be the most difficult schedule in the history of basketball with a tough loss to the Louisa Legends… Fire & Ice leads the way in scoring this week with 114 points. Austin Richardson exploded with 8 threes…. Justin Dials for the Bricklayers swished in 7 threes in their loss to the Flint Tropics.

#RISEabove basketball league regular season will conclude this Saturday, February 27th. The playoffs will begin Friday, March 4th, with 2-3 games being held at First Baptist Church that evening and the rest of the tournament concluding at First Baptist Church on Saturday, March 5th. Sunday, March 6th – we will be hosting #RISEabove ALL-STAR SUNDAY at the old Fort Gay Middle School with a full host of events, including an All-Star Game, Three Point Shootout, Free Throw Contest, and awards ceremony. Saturday, March 12th – the top five teams in the #RISEabove Louisa basketball league will begin a tournament with the top five teams in Kenova First Baptist’s basketball league. The #RISEabove vs Kenova tournament will conclude Saturday, March 26th with a #RISEabove vs Kenova All- Star Game, Three Point Shootout, and Free Throw Contest.
