ACTC Releases Fall Dean’s List
Ashland Community and Technical College has named 17 Lawrence County residents to the Dean’s List for Fall Semester 2015. Dean’s List students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) on at least 12 credit hours in courses numbered 100 and above.

ACTC Photography Classes
ACTC is offering classes taught by J. B. Cremeans, a local photographer and experienced Photoshop instructor. Classes are held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Roberts Drive Campus. Register through ACTC Workforce Solutions, 606-326-2072 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Intro to Photography I on Mondays, March 14 to April 19, is designed for beginners and hobbyists who want to do more than point and shoot. Participants will get one-on-one instruction about using their camera features. The fee is $75.
Intro to Photography 2 on Tuesdays, March 15 to April 19, will cover advanced features and techniques such as EV and flash compensation, advanced white balance and metering, and other settings. A camera with manual functions is recommended. The fee is $75.
An Intro to Photoshop class on Wednesdays, March 16 to April 20, is designed for anyone interested in photography, graphic design, photo restoration or digital scrapbooking. Participant will learn how to enhance photos for web sharing or print and add graphics to labels, greeting cards and display materials. The fee is $85.
