Lois Jean “Toby” Evans
1940 – 2016
Lois Jean “Toby” Evans 75, of Louisa, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday Feb. 4, 2016 following a long illness.
Toby was born July 25, 1940 at Kermit, WV the daughter of the late George Ellis and Opal Marie Basiden Maynard. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William Sherman “Carl” Evans and two sisters, Barbara Gail Maynard Rose and Carina Sue Maynard Bault. Toby was a homemaker and member of the Louisa Church of God.
Survivors include two daughters, Magdalene Maynard and husband Gary of Versailles, KY and Judith Bowen and husband William of Fallsburg, KY, a son Timothy Evans and wife Angie of Louisa, KY; three sisters Eloise Maynard Baker, Della Mae Maynard Damron, and Debbie Maynard Sapp, a brother George Ellis Maynard Jr.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday Feb. 8 at 11:30 am at the Louisa Church of God with Rev. Paul Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowen Family Cemetery at Fallsburg, KY.
Friends may visit the family from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday at the Louisa Church of God.
