Chaffins ties school record with 9 treys in win over Phelps
Louisa, Ky. — Austin Chaffins hit 9 three pointers in a 81-37 Victory over Phelps Friday Night. Chaffins finished with 30 points and tied a school record for most three pointers in a game with Todd Wilson.
Lawrence Co. ( 18-3 ) hit 13 three pointers in the lopsided win.
Robert Dalton tallied 17 points, Grant Kiser finished with 10 points, Brandon Richardson had 9 points, Timmy Dalton and Shawn Moore had 4 each, Tanner Black hit 1 three pointer, Josh Ratliff and Trey Dotson chipped in with 2 points each.
LC went 8-9 from the line.

Lawrence Co. Girls started off the night with a 67-48 60th District Victory over Phelps improving to 9-12 and 2-3 in District Games.
The Lady Dawgs placed three players in Double Figures led by Kendra Spaulding with 24 points, Layken Chapman had 15 points including 3 three pointers, Kassidy Cavins tallied 12 points, Alexis Ratliff had 5 points, Kara Williamson with 4 points, Destiny Chapman and Kelly Davis 2 points each, and Chelsey Fields chipped in with 1 point.
Lawrence Co. hit 4 three pointers and went 4-19 from the foul line.
