New Years Eve Cake Heist from Little Debbies truck at Louisa Speedway
At approximately 3pm on New Years Eve, Louisa Police were dispatched to the scene of a theft in the parking lot of the Louisa Speedway.
Witnesses say that a male subject was seen taking several boxes of snack cakes from a Little Debbie truck, while the driver was delivering inside the store.
Police Chief Greg Fugitt said, “Sgt. Ed Cordle, with assistance of the witnesses, located the suspect at Food City where he was in possession of 6 cases of Little Debbie cakes valued at $136.44.”
Lonnie T. Swafford, 56 of Blaine, was charged with a misdemeanor count of Theft by Unlawful taking, under $500.
He is scheduled to appear in court on January 19th, 2016.
