Lawrence Co. Sheriff Garrett Roberts provided the following list of arrests:
Lincoln P. Nutter, 30, Louisa, KY, was arrested Nov. 12, on Rt. 23 at Torchlight, two miles south of Louisa, and charged with Leaving Scene of Accident, and Driving on DUI Suspended License.
According to the police report, Nutter was involved in a collision with a tractor trailer, and was located two miles south of the collision site by Sheriff Garrett Roberts. On contact with the subject, he advised he did have a collision with the truck and left the scene. Nutter was driving on suspended license due to a DUI charge. Sgt. Chuck Jackson was the arresting officer, and stated that he had knowledge of the defendant’s previous charge of driving on DUI
Suspended, 1st offense. He was the case officer on that charge. No injuries were reported during the collision.
Terry M. Jarvis, 26, Naugatuck, WV, was arrested Nov. 17, one mile north of Louisa on Rt. 23, and charged with Speeding 17 MPH Over Speed Limit, Carless Driving, No Operators License, Drug Paraphernalia Possession.
According to the police report, Jarvis was observed traveling 72 MPH north bound on U.S. Rt. 23, in a 55 MPH zone. Subject was all over the road, crossing lines multiple times. Upon contact, he had no operators license. Upon searching the subject, Sgt. Steve Wilburn felt needles in his pocket, but when asked, Jarvis said he did not have needles. He was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree. Jarvis had a syringe in his pocket that had pill residue.
Roy Morris, 35, Huntington, WV, was arrested Nov. 17, one mile north of Louisa on Rt. 23, and charged with
Failure to Wear Seatbelt, No Registration Plates, No Registration Receipt, and Failure to Produce Insurance Card. Morris was served a bench warrant for court. Arresting officer, Mason Keefer.
Johnathan E. Lester, 26, Martha, KY, was arrested Nov. 21, inside the Lawrence Co. Sheriff’s Office and served an indictment on previous charges. Arresting officer, Mark Wheeler.
Misty Ann Borders, 34, Martha, KY, was arrested Nov. 21, inside the Lawrence Co. Sheriff’s Office and served an indictment on previous charges. Arresting officer, Mark Wheeler.
Allison D. Fitzgerald, 28, Louisa, KY, was arrested Nov. 21, on Raven Rock Road, eight miles north of Louisa, and charged with Domestic Violence and Abuse Duties of Law Enforcement Agency.
According to the police report, Deputy Mark Wheeler responded to the above location in reference to a domestic situation between Fitzgearld and her parents. The caller advised that Fitzgerald was yelling and threatening them and was out of control. Upon arrival, Wheeler observed scratches on Fitzgerald’s mother’s left arm. Fitzgerald was arrested for safety of all parties involved. Deputy felt situation would escalate, putting parties and children in danger. The scratches were made by Fitzgerald, but she said it was accidental. She did not give officer any trouble.
Jadee Ann Trimper, 52, Louisa, KY, was arrested Nov. 21, at Meades Branch, nine miles south of Louisa, and charged with Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) Minor Injury.
According to the police report, Officer Dwayne Bowen was called to a residence on Meades Branch Road. The reporting person stated that that Jadee had got drunk and started hitting on him. He left the residence and went to his brother’s to call law enforcement. His right eye was cut and he stated that she had done it because of a basketball game.
Donna Kaye Arthur, 41, Louisa, KY, was arrested Nov. 25, at Meades Branch, nine miles south of Louisa, and charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident, Failure to Surrender Operators License, and Operating Suspended/Revoked Operators License.
According to the police report, deputy Dwayne Bowen attempted to make a traffic stop on a blue 1997 Chevy vehicle in which Donna Arthur was a passenger near Greenbriar. The vehicle refused to stop, almost hitting cruiser as they were getting onto Rt. 32. They drove south on Rt. 23 to Meades Branch where the driver then bailed and Donna took off in the truck, then stopped at the intersection at Meades Branch and said Chad Johnson was operating the vehicle. A recorded statement from the vehicle owner stated her husband, James Arthur was driving the vehicler. Donna Arthur was in control of the motor vehicle when Bowen arrived on the scene. After running a status check on her WV license, it showed she was suspended from driving.
