Johnny Adkins

Johnny Adkins, 60, of Ulysses, KY passed away Monday Nov. 23, 2015 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a long illness.
Johnny was born March 21, 1955, the son of the late George Junior and Minerva Kelly Adkins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Timmy and Wayne Adkins; and a sister Martha Ross.
Survivors include his wife Jerry Sue Wells of Ulysses, KY; three daughters Christie Caudill and husband Matthew of Paintsville, KY, Heather Adkins of Oil Springs, KY, and Ashley Adkins of Charleston, WV; a son J. R. Wells and wife Kim of Louisa, KY; three brothers Douglas Adkins of Newark, OH, Jimmy Adkins of Owingsville, KY, and George Adkins of Louisa, KY; three sisters Loretta Fannin of Louisa, KY, Karen Adkins of Louisa, KY, and Lorena Mae Sprouse of Webbville, KY.; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday Nov. 25 at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Copley and Bro. Bryan Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mose Preston Cemetery at Georges Creek, KY.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday Nov. 14 at the Wilson Funeral Home.
