Lawrence County Born Learning Academy Begins Monday
LOUISA – Lawrence County Schools will be holding the “Born Learning Family Night” on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Louisa West Elementary School.
This event is for families with children who are aged birth to five years old and their siblings. The goal is to give families practical tips on working with their children from the earliest moment in order to help develop strong learning skills.
Born Learning Academies across Kentucky are being held to help parents and guardians prepare their children for their first school experiences and also to help prepare parents and guardians to be their child’s first teacher.
Each of the six Born Learning Academy sessions will feature dinner, child care, fun educational experiences for children, educational workshops for parents and guardians, and even door prizes.
