Thelma J. Adams
1918 – 2015
Thelma J. Adams, 97, of Ewing, Ky. passed away Thursday, October 28, 2015 at the Bracken County Nursing and Rehab Center in Augusta, Ky.
She was born January 25, 1918 in Blaine, Ky. a daughter of the late Jonas and Bertha Parker Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cherokee Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Adams; three daughters, Dorothy Hayes, Betty Lykins, and Bertha Prince; one grandson, Johnny Prince.
Survivors include, five sons, Donald (Stella) Adams of Louisa, Ky.; Ronald (Linda) Adams of Webbville,, Ky.; Fred (Josephine) Adams of Grove City, Ohio; Jonas Adams of Maysville, Ky.; James Adams of Ewing, Ky.; one daughter, Joyce (Darrel) Priode of Louisa, Ky.; 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Yatesville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6:00 til 9:00 pm Friday at Young Funeral Home.
