OCTOBER 24, 2015
Annual fundraising day will be Saturday, November 7
Blaine Elementary Schools’ Annual Fall Carnival is quickly approaching.
Hosted by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Fall Carnival serves as the biggest fundraiser each year. Funds raised by PTO help provide field trips for students along with various awards and incentives throughout the year. This year’s carnival will be Saturday, November 7, starting at 5pm.
Throughout the evening people can enjoy games, food, henna tattoos, hair fusions, face painting, balloons, cotton candy, shopping from vendors and more before ending the night with a live auction.
Folks can also take a chance to dunk Lawrence County School Superintendent Dr. Robbie Fletcher and LC School Board Member Garnett Skaggs as they take their turn in the dunking booth.
Currently, the organization is looking for donations, either monetary or items that can be used in the auction. For more information or to donate, contact PTO President Stephanie Cordle at 606-371-8831.
The 8th grade class will also be hosting a Car Show that day starting at 1pm. All proceeds will go to help raise money for their annual class trip. (See flyer BELOW.)
