October Indictments

Two men escape from correctional officer
Deadbeat dads head up the indictment list; Hay bailer and logs are stolen
The Lawrence County Grand Jury met last week, returning over a dozen indictments with charges ranging from Flagrant Non-Support, Bail Jumping and Burglary, to Escape, Assault, and Manufacturing Meth. Following is a complete list of October imdixtments:
John Fitch, 42, Louisa, KY, was indicted on a charge of Flagrant Non-Support.
According to the indictment, on or about June 19, 2015, John Fitch failed to pay child support to Jessica Fitch as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $3,814.00.
Aaron D. Goble, 35, Warfield, KY, was indicted on a charge of Flagrant Non-Support.
According to the indictment, on or about August 15th, 2005 through July 31, 2015, Aaron D. Goble failed to pay child support to Barbara Goble Horn as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $8,630.43.
Joshua Cline, 33, Obetz, OH, was indicted on a charge of Flagrant Non-Support.
According to the indictment, on or about Nov. 1, 2005 through July 31, 2015, Joshua Cline failed to pay child support to Rhonda Cline Moore as court ordered with a total amount exceeding $4,083.58.
Teddy L. Adkins, 45, Ft. Gay, WV, was indicted on a charge of Flagrant Non-Support.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 2001 through July 31, 2015, Teddy L. Adkins failed to pay child support to Deborah Adkins as court ordered with a amount exceeding $24,211.17.
Scott Fisher, 44, Coal Grove, OH, was indicted on charges of Tampering With Prisoner Monitoring Device, Escape 2nd Degree, and Persistent Felony Offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 25, 2015, Scott Fischer intentionally removed,destroyed or altered a device used to facilitate electronic monitoring after being ordered to wear such a device. Defendant knowingly and unlawfully escaping custody of Heather Harrison with Community Corrections. Defendant is considered a persistent felony offender due to being previously convicted of a felony.
In a separate case, Defendant was indicted on charges of Bail Jumping 1st Degree and Persistent Felony Offender. According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 25, 2015, Fisher failed to appear for court in connection with a felony charge of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. Defendant is considered a persistent felony offender due to being previously convicted of a felony.
Steven Hunt, 24, Louisa, KY, was indicted on charges of Tampering With Prisoner Monitoring Device and Escape 2nd Degree.
According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 25, 2015, Steven Hunt intentionally removed, destroyed or altered a device used to facilitate electronic monitoring after being ordered to wear such device. Defendant knowingly and unlawfully escaping custody of Heather Harrison with Community Corrections. Defendant is considered a persistent felony offender due to being previously convicted of a felony.
On a separate case, Hunt was indicted on a charge of Bail Jumping 1st Degree. According to the indictment, Defendant failed to appear for court in connection with a felony; manufacturing meth.
Travis Cordle, 29, Louisa, KY, was indicted on charges of Manufacturing Meth, Trafficking Controlled Substance and Possession/Use Drug Paraphernalia. According to the indictment, on or about Aug. 30, 2015, Travis Cordle knowingly and unlawfully manufactured meth or intent to manufacture, in possession of two or chemicals or items of equipment to manufacture. Defendant also was in possession of controlled substance, or by trafficking, namely Methamphedamine.
Defendant was also in possession of syringes.
Randall Donta II, 25, Ashland, KY, was indicted on charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Persistent Felony Offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Aug. 30, 2015, Randall Donta II knowingly and unlawfully entered in the dwelling house of Glen and Darlene Fletcher of Louisa, KY with the intent to commit theft. Defendant damaged property of the Fletchers, namely a window and keys to automobile. Defendant is considered a persistent felony offender due to being previous convicted of a felony.
Johnathan E. Lester, 26, Louisa, KY was indicted on a charge of Theft By Unlawful Taking. According to the indictment, on or about March 26, 2015, Johnathan E. Lester took cut logs owned by BPM Lumber from the Louisa Log Yard with a value of $2,000.
David R. Gietzen, 25, Louisa, KY, was indicted on a charge of Burglary 2nd Degree. According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 12, 2015, David R. Gietzen knowingly and unlawfully entered the dwelling house of Chrystal Chaffin of Louisa, KY with intent of theft.
John Curtis Spillman, 32, Louisa, KY, was indicted on charges of Theft By Unlawful Taking Over $500 and Persistent Felony Offender. According to the indictment, on or about July 3rd, 2015, John Curtis Spillman knowingly and unlawfully took a New Holland Brand hay bailer from Mrs. Lucinda Roberts, with a value of $500.
Defendant is considered a persistent felony offender due to being previously convicted of a felony.
Cody Williams, 37, Webbville, was indicted on charges of Assault 1st Degree and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. According to the indictment, on or before Aug. 15, 2015, Cody Williams intentionally assaulted David Anderson of Webbville, KY by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument. Defendant also drove in a manner creating danger of death or injury to Pamela Anderson of Webbville, KY.
Sandra M. Lycans, 50, was indicted on charge of Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (2 Counts). According to the indictment, on or about July 1, 2015, Sandra M. Lycans knowingly and unlawfully was in possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Oxycodone and Methamphedamine.
