OCTOBER 13, 2015
Though the morning started out cool, rising temperatures and sunshine quickly set the perfect scene for Blaine’s 5th Annual Autumn Fest. Throughout the week the town transformed into a perfect autumn setting as pumpkins, mums, hay bales and fodder shocks were used to decorate throughout.
With a wide variety of vendors present, festival goers were able to browse and shop along with enjoying food such as hotdogs, funnel cakes, popcorn and more.
Antique cars, horses, atv’s, pageant winners and school groups proudly rode through town during the afternoon parade. Folks were also able to enjoy a free meal of barbeque pork, chips, coleslaw and dessert while listening to live music from the Branham Brothers and Mike Hall.
Plans for next years’ festival are already underway. Traditionally, the festival takes place the second Saturday of each October.
