Margaret Anne Michael
1937 – 2015
Margaret Anne Michael, 78, of Fort Gay, WV. went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2015.
She was born September 18, 1937 in Louisa, Ky. a daughter of the late Wye and Mellie Peck Wellman. She held a variety of positions for the goverment, and was a member of the Fort Gay Missionary Baptist Church, she was a Sunday School teacher and a Deaconess with the Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnny Randall Michael; sister, Betty Jean Higginbotham.
Survivors include, her loving husband, Ralph C. Michael of Fort Gay, WV.; son, Ralph C. Michael II of Austin, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Anne Michael of Jeffersonville, Ind.; brother, Joe Wellman of Fort Gay, WV.; sisters, Dorothy Perry of Orlando, Fla.; Mary Lou Lakin of Huntington, WV.; grandchildren, Bradley Michael of Greensboro, NC.; Chris Michael of Raleigh, NC; great granddaughter, Harper Michael also of Raleigh, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Fort Gay Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Gay, WV., with Rev. Tim Preston and Rev. Tony Perry officiating. Burial will follow at the Ferguson Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 til 9:00 PM Saturday at Young Funeral Home.
