LCYFL B Team Cheerleaders Bring It!
Lawrence County B Team Cheerleaders performed with fierce passion at Saturday’s Tri-State Youth Football League Cheer Competition. They received first place in both Technical Cheer and Dance claiming victory as Large Division Grand Champions.
This is a first time victory for LCYFL in a little over five years of competing against 55 other schools in two divisions(small/large). LCYFL Coordinator Heath Preston posted: “You win championships when it becomes about “we” not “me”, and these girls showed us all how it’s done. So proud of our cheer coordinator Heather Compton and the B team coach Jeanette Burke and all the coaches and volunteers and parents. Truly thankful for all involved.”
“D Team received fourth place and E and C Teams also had great performances as well.”
