Joseph Clark Green, age 65, of Louisa passed away following an extended illness surrounded by loved ones, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at home in Louisa.
Mr. Green was born October 4, 1949 in Hellier, KY. He is the son of the late Bill and the late Velvia Kathryn (Terry) Green. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Frankie Green, one infant sister, Phyllis Green, one granddaughter, Sarah Triplett, and son-in-law, Adrian Dillon.
He is survived by his wife: Sharon Green, two sons, Joseph Clark Green, Jr. and wife Lisa of Louisa, KY, and Will Daniel Green of Louisa, KY, two daughters, Cheryl Dillon of Louisa, KY, and Judy Arrington and husband Timothy of Cincinnati, two brothers, Danny Green of Michigan and Billie Green of Ohio, two sisters, Judy Church and husband Bill of Webbville, KY and Deloris Smith and husband Terry of Ohio, seven grandchildren, Crystal Crawford, Kodie Green, Kristi Triplett, Sierra Dillon, Brittany Hammonds, and Daniel Chapman, and one great-grandchild, Daniel Chapman, Jr.
He also left behind numerous loving family and friends.
He was employed as an automotive mechanic, and was a deacon at the Garden of Hope Church.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 3 at Garden Of Hope Church with Rev. Darrell Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday, October 1 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Friday, October 2 at Garden of Hope Church.
