Lawrence County Native Hired as Fallsburg Principal
LOUISA, KY – (SEPT. 21, 2015) Lawrence County’s own Stuart Cook will be the next principal at Fallsburg Elementary School, according to Lawrence County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Robbie Fletcher.
“Mr. Cook has an impressive resume as a teacher and assistant principal in Johnson County and as a principal at East Valley Elementary School in Morgan County,” said Dr. Fletcher. “More importantly, I believe that he will be ‘ALL IN’ for the Fallsburg Community, especially for our students.”
Cook has most recently served as principal at the Morgan County school since 2012. He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from Morehead State University. During his time at EVES he and his staff helped students achieve an impressive increase in their overall KPREP score of 17 points.
On Friday, Cook said he was excited to be back in Lawrence County and particularly to be able to be at a great community and school like Fallsburg.
“I know the Lord has placed me in a great school and community,” Cook said. “We can lead and guide the children of Fallsburg, and we can only do it together,” he said.
