MARTIN CO. ROBBER ARRESTED AGAIN IN LAWRENCE CO.; NOW HIS 26TH ARREST SINCE MARCH 2002
Nichols robbed Louisa gas station, another store in Pike County, been out on bond for months, but arrested and released again in Martin County last month..,
A Martin County man who robbed a now closed Louisa gas station late last year; and was a suspect in similar robbery in Pike County a couple a days later; was arrested in Lawrence County again, this time on burglary charges, after apparently being released on bond twice after his 2014 arrest
Chad A. Nichols, 32, of Lovely, Kentucky; was arrested on September 11, 2015, at 11:22 A.M. by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department and was charged with: • BURGLARY, 1ST DEGREE. See Lazer Courthouse page.)
Nichols was arrested in Martin County on December 26, 2014, for the unarmed robbery at the now closed 32 BP in Louisa Dec. 21, 2014; and was the main suspect in a similar robbery at the Fast-Lane Discount Tobacco in South Williamson, Ky, Monday evening Dec. 22, 2014.
It is not clear if Nichols was out on bond or if he pled guilty and was given a reduced sentence; or if the charges were dropped, though Nichols was arrested in Martin County on a bench warrant in early August, but yet was released again before his latest arrest in Lawrence County.
Chad Nichols latest arrest marks his 26th arrest, with a history of wide ranging charges since March 2002.

Regan L. Young, 41, of Louisa, was arrested on September 11, 2015, at 5:51 P.M. by deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department and was charged with:

Young had just been released from the Big Sandy Detention Center back in June after serving six months on charges he was arrested for on multiple bench warrants in November 2014.
His latest arrest marks his at least 35th arrest since January 2002, with older court records showing multiple arrests and charges going back into the years of the early 2000s and back into the 1990s in Kentucky and West Virginia.
