George Owen Chapman

George Owen Chapman, 88, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at his home.
He was born July 20, 1927 in Chapman, Ky. a son of the late William David and Rosa Belle Miller Chapman. He was a retired signalman of the CSX Railroad, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Chapman, Ky.; he was also a member of the Brotherhood Railroad Signalmen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jo Clifton Chapman.
Survivors include, two sons, William David (Mary) Chapman of Chapman, Ky.; Bobby Owen (Pam) Chapman of Sitka, Ky.; sister, Diana (James) Lyons of Greenup, Ky.; 5 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Gene Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Peck Cemetery, Chapman, Ky.
Visitation will be 5:00 til 9:00 PM Wednesday at Young Funeral Home.
