FT. GAY MAN FLED FROM SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES WHILE BEING PROCESSED
On September 1st, 2015 Ryan C Powers, 33 of Fort Gay, WV was arrested for
Driving on DUI Suspended License, Fugitive from Justice from the State of
West Virginia for a parole violation on an original charge of Receiving Stolen Property and a bench warrant.
After being transported to the Sheriff’s Office and while being processed, Powers fled from the deputies.
Powers is now facing an escape charge for fleeing as well as the other charges he was facing. Sheriff Garrett asked for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ryan Powers to contact the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
Ryan Powers has been located and arrested. Thank you to everyone that got the word out.
