Vaughn Chaffin
1923 – 2015
Vaughn Chaffin, 91, of Louisa, Ky. passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, W.V.
He was born December 21, 1923 in Matewan, W.V. a son of the late Okey and Ellma Kitchen Chaffin. He was a retired construction worker, WWII Army Veteran and was a member of Belles Chapel Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by, one son, Travis Chaffin; brother, Don Chaffin.
Survivors include, three daughters, Kathy Chaffin of Columbus, Ohio; Janet (Lloyd) Williams of TN.; Debbie (Gary) Brock of Pataskala, Ohio; sister, Donna Wellman of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Ryan and Clayton Chaffin, Shelby and Sydney Brock; several nieces and nephews and a Very Special Double Cousin, Denver Chaffin.
A Graveside service will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Frank Copley officiating.
Young Funeral Home, Louisa, Ky. is charge of arrangements.
