Soccer Dawgs get off to 3-0 start
Louisa, Ky Lawrence Co. Soccer is off to hot start in 2015. The Dawgs have won the first three games by a combined score of 22-0 with wins coming over Pikeville 10-0, Shelby Valley 10-0 and a huge win over Ashland 2-0.
Goal Keeper Catherine Clay has been off the charts so far this season. The offense has been great lead by Victoria Clevenger with 6 goals, Skylar Chapman 5 goals, Raegan Crum and Scylar Bowens 4 goals, Kylie Maynard 2 goals and 1 from Alice Hudson.
LC will be in action tonight at home vs Belfry and Saturday at Home vs Cabell Midland, W. Va.

Volley Dawgs runners-up in Cardinal Classic
Lawrence Co. Volley Dawgs are also playing well in 2015. They have been in every match right until the end. This season they have come away with two wins including a Runner Up finish in the Cardinal Classic at Sheldon Clark over the weekend.
LC beat Piarist and Magoffin Co. and lost in the Championship to Sheldon Clark.
The Volley Dawgs will be in action tonight at home vs Jenkins and Monday August 31st vs June Buchanan.
” The weekend could have gone better but we are halfway to our win total from 2014 in the first week of the season,” Head Coach April York said. “Kate Thompson and Aryana Chapman were the most consistent players all week.”
