Eagle Ridge Golf League News
Victor Swinney posts a net 26!
Tuesday, August 25, 2015, was a top-ten day for playing golf, but perhaps the poorest week of the year, especially after last weeks’ low, low record breaking scores. Victor Swinney again shot the lowest net score, but not nearly as low as last week. Joey Stepp again shot the lowest score, but not nearly the one under par of last week. In one of the skills competition, not one golfer hit green number 2 on the second shot.
Needless to say, the course is still in perfect condition. The problem was the golfers.
The following are Tuesday’s results.
August 25, 2015:
Low Net Score (31)Victory Swinney
Low Gross Score (40)Joey Stepp
Longest Drive (#4)Bill England
Fewest Putts (12)Victor Swinney
Closest to the pin (#3)Sam Sumpter
Longest Putt (#18)Victor Swinney
Closest to the pin (#17)Clyde Adkins
Greens in Regulation (4)Joey Stepp

Please contact Dan Preece (673-4190 or firstname.lastname@example.org) to place your reservation. Reservations need to be made as early as possible so there can be a count of the people attending.
September 1 is the last night of scheduled league play. Players’ seeding shall determine the final night of league play (September 8).

League Point Totals
The league has two weeks remaining after Tuesday’s results. The following are the current league point leaders after August 25, 2015, scores. The notification of the members’ standing and schedule shall appear in the Lazer prior to the September 8 final play date. Take notice that past league champions hold 2nd and 3rd third places. Further, players in 4th through 6th places have a mathematical chance for the title.
My league play has ended because I will be on vacation through Friday, September 7, 2005. I have submitted a makeup round, not bad, but not great either. Where I end in this list will be dependent upon my pairings for the coming week. The players will know what they must score.
I will be making a report prior to the final league schedule.
