VICTIMS NAME IS # 1 COLD CASE FILE
Another year has rolled around and on the 28th day of August will make twelve years since the brutal murder of my sister Dianna Keeton just outside the small community of Blaine Ky. Since that time, nothing has been the same for my family. Watching and listening for any information.
Hoping to find out who committed this awful crime.
My Dad has since passed not knowing who shot and killed his oldest daughter.
She had three grandchildren and three step grandchildren at the time she was killed. Now there are six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and three great grandchildren that will never know the love of their grandmother.
Her youngest son served his country as a National Guard in Iraq, knowing this would have made her very proud.
Her children and grandchildren live each day with the knowledge that they will never feel the warm touch of a hug or the sound of her soft voice.
People say that time will help ease the pain of losing someone you love that is true to a point, but when she has a new grandbaby to be born or a family member to die the pain is still so real. The only real happiness is knowing that someday I will be able to go see her in Heaven.
There is still a $5,000 reward for the capture and convection of the person or persons that committed this horrendous murder.
I know my Mother, my family, and the whole community would rest easier knowing that whoever KILLED my sister was finally behind bars.
Her case is number one in the cold case files for now. Hopefully someone will hear something or something will be said to bring the case back to an active status and the person or persons will be caught. If anyone know anything please contact the Kentucky State Police in Ashland at (606) 928-6421.
Thanks,
Barbara Hall, sister to Dianna Keeton
