Lonzo C. Thompson
1935 – 2015
Lonzo C. Thompson, 79 of Louisa, KY passed away August 11, 2015 at his home.
He was born November 29, 1935 at Busseyville, KY to the late Hercle and Nora Estep-Thompson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Moore Thompson. Mr. Thompson was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Maxwell, and Charles Thompson and two sisters, Betty Wellman and Lenora Ruth Ross.
Survivors include two sisters, Patty Gussler of Columbus, OH and Delores Goble of Inez, KY, one daughter, Deborah Thompson-Whitt and husband Terry of Grove City, OH, two sons, Markison Lonzo Thompson and wife Stacey of Louisa, KY and Timothy Thompson and wife Karen of Circleville, OH, seven grandchildren, Terry G. Whitt and wife Angela, Nathaniel Whitt and wife Erica, Collin Whitt and wife Jessica, Lance Thompson and wife Desiree, Anthony Thompson, Zachary Thompson, and Cameron Thompson, and seven great-grandchildren. He was a member of Spencer Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Thompson was retired from Price Brothers Co. where he worked as a Plant Manager for 38 years.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Childers officiating. Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6pm-9pm at Wilson Funeral Home.
