Lawrence County 4-H & Hindman Settlement School Partner to Offer An After-School Tutoring Program for Students
The struggle can be so real. Dyslexia can be overlooked and disregarded so easily. The Hindman Settlement School has offered classes and tutoring for an extensive number of years now, thirty-five to be exact, and we are going to be able to bring this assistance closer to home. Tutoring sessions will be available this fall at the Lawrence County Extension Office through 4-H.
If you have a child(ren) that you feel struggle with phonics or phonemic awareness, dysgraphia, or more, please consider a screening as soon as possible. You will need to contact the Hindman Settlement School to begin the process. Parents will not tutor their own child, but a responsible adult must also agree to be trained to help tutor within the program each week.
