KSP MOBILE METH UNIT CALLED TO DISASSEBLE ROOM
Suspect still on the loose…
On July 12, 2015 at 07:43 the Louisa Police Department was dispatched to the Super 8 Motel to investigate the report that one of the tenants was cooking food while in his room.
Before an officer arrived a second call came into the dispatch center requesting the fire department to respond due to the sight of smoke. The suspect that was renting the room had already left the area and has not to be located at this time.
After evacuating the motel it was determined that there was a working meth lab in the bathroom of room 223 that had caused the smoke. Louisa Police Department contacted Kentucky State Police mobile meth unit to disassemble the lab.
“We do have a suspect and will be following up with charges on that person,” stated Chief Greg Fugitt. Officer Hunter James is investigating officer.
