Completed its 11th Week of Play
Actually, we have completed 11-weeks of play with 2-rainouts and one makeup round from June 30 where all scores have not received. Perhaps it’s just me, but I believed it has rained every night for the last month.
The Eagle Ridge Golf League results from Tuesday, July 7, 2015, teeing off at about 5:15 PM after all people were accounted for, we began in hot, muggy weather, with thunderstorms on the radar. It is a good thing the league started early for the rain started as I placed my clubs in the car. With an afternoon rain storm before league, even with Rodney and his staff attempting to keep the grass in check, the members found difficult playing conditions. The greens were good, but the rough was very difficult to hit from. However, considering this summer, we were happy to get the round in.
