Marvin Roberts
1917 – 2015
Marvin Roberts 97 of Grove City, Ohio formerly of Louisa, Ky went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2015.
Marvin was born Dec. 22, 1917 at Louisa, the son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Marie Adams Roberts. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Regaina Wellman Roberts.
Marvin was a retired General Motors Frigidaire Division employee, a member of the Apperson F&AM 195, Odd Fellow, Eastern Star, Rebekka’s, 27 year volunteer with the Three Rivers Medical Center Senior Circle, and a member of the Smokey Valley Enterprise Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter Cheryl Goble and husband Donald of Grove City, Ohio and a sister Anna Katherine Scarberry, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 27 at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Kelly and Rev. Ronnie Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville Memorial Gardens .
Friends may visit the family after 5:00 pm Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
