James Stephens
1927 – 2015
James Stephens, 88, of Galena, Ohio formerly of Blaine, KY went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2015.
James was born April 25, 1927 at Dobbins, KY the son of the late Isaac and Ida Barker Stephens. He was a carpenter and member of the Westerville Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Stephens.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years Pauline Boggs Stephens, two grandchildren Cara Blanchard and Chad Boggs, a great granddaughter Alivia Boggs, four sisters Lola Phillips, Liddie Stephens, Alma Hale, and Evelyn West; a brother John Stephens.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 19 at 11:00 am at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Family Cemetery at Blaine, KY.
Friends may visit the family after 5:00 pm Thursday at the Wilson Funeral Home.
