June turns up the heat
Kentucky Press News Service
June might have started with cool temperatures but those days are over. Today’s highs will be in the mid 80s and then the mercury really cranks up into the low 90s and high 80s beginning Wednesday and continuing for the next nine days.
Weather.com said there’s a 60 percent chance for scattered thunderstorms on Saturday and a 50 percent chance for more of the same on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Otherwise, rain chances during the period will run at 20 percent or less daily.
For the most part, overnight lows will run in the upper 60s during the period, Weather.com said.
