Moran says work will make drainage much better
Traffic Alert!
LAWRENCE COUNTY – May 26, 2015 – A section of KY 3 South in Lawrence County will be closed to all traffic tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27, according to Highway District 12 Maintenance Superintendent Todd Moran.
In order to replace a cross drain that runs underneath the pavement, KY 3 at the 1.2 mile marker will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. No traffic will be able to go through the work zone because the pavement will be cut in order to remove the old drain and install a new one.
“We want to thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding,” Moran said. “This will make for much better drainage in this area, and that will make the road safer for everyone.”
