Coach’s Comments:
” Came out a little tight in the first inning and I had to call timeout to calm them down,” said Head Coach Kenny Horn.
“Rice had the big triple to get the momentum and I thought that was a back breaker for them.” Been talking all year about somebody getting a big hit, and we got a couple tonight. 2010 was out last district title so to get one was nice but next week is what we are looking forward to.” Though our crowd tonight was very good and it was awesome to see Coach Horn said.
Can’t wait for Monday”
The Lady Dawgs will begin Region 15 play Monday at Prestonsburg’s Stoney Crest Park. They will face nemesis Johnson Central, the Region’s top team at 23-10 who lost a shocker to Magoffin Co. earlier this week in the District finals at Sheldon Clark.
Gametime is 10:00 am.
