Louisa, Ky. — Some roads Louisa have been getting a lot of attention lately. City laborers have been hard at work reconstructing the roads with a lot of damage. The city is seeing much needed improvements to blacktop roads in certain areas of the city.
Tax dollars are doing a great favor for these roads, Louisa Mayor Harold Slone said. “We have finished all of the blacktop we are doing, but the city will continue fixing potholes that cause trouble.”
There are still many streets that need fixed, Slone said. “Not all of the roads will get the same amount of attention.”
Slone said he hopes to fix the worst spots that most people will travel. “You can’t make everyone happy but we are trying our best,” Slone said.
