At the May meeting the Lawrence County Public Library Board of Trustees voted to move the board meeting time to the third Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will be in the library genealogy or meeting room and is open to the public.
LAWRENCE COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY HIRING STUDENT SHELVERS
The Lawrence County Public Library is hiring two college student shelvers for summer employment. The position is part-time with 20 hours per week paying $7.25 per hour. The application is available at www.lcplky.org/employment. In addition, applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from non-family members as well as a current copy of college/university transcripts. Unofficial copies will be accepted. The anticipated start date is June 15, 2015.
