Beer on the racks by middle of the week, one manager says…
On May 4, 2015 the City of Louisa Alcohol Beverage Control Officer William Leedy has issued two NQ Malt Beverage Licenses.
After meeting all state and city requirements the Louisa Rite-Aid and Clarks Pump-N-Shop are now legal to have malt beverages package sells, Leedy said.
Assistant Manager Brian Clay of Clarks Pump-N-Shop on Madison Street stated that they hope to have their coolers stocked with beverages by the middle of the week, whereas Joyce Burchett manager of Rite Aid said that they are working toward by week’s end having their store stocked.
Mayor Harold Slone stated that, “the application process is moving along smoothly and other businesses will be getting their license soon.”
Anyone who has questions about ABC licenses should contact William Leedy at city hall 606-638-4050 or police department 606-638-4058.
