Louisa, KY — With the growing interest in family history research and television shows on the subject, it is exciting to know there will be a genealogy workshop held in downtown Louisa next weekend.
Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Louisa Chapter members and certified genealogists, Mary Ellen Reid, and Linda Holt, will be conducting a genealogy workshop on Saturday, March 7, at the Lawrence County Public Library in Louisa, KY.
The workshop will be held in the Library’s genealogy room from 10:00-12:00, and is free to the public. Mary Ellen Reid, who is also the Louisa Chapter Regent for DAR, said the workshop is for all genealogy research. “It’s not just for DAR history.”
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced researcher, this workshop will provide direction and insight on the ever popular hobby of genealogy.
Anyone interested in participating in the workshop needs to register with the library by calling 606-638-4497.
