Virginia P. Diamond, 89, of Louisa, Ky. died Tuesday February 17, 2015 at rthe Jordan Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Diamond and her son, Sam E. Diamond.
She was born February 25, 1925 to Roscoe and hattie Jobe Prince at Sharon, Pa. Virginia was raised by her grandparents Ulysses and Genoa Thompson prince at Irad, Ky. She was retired from the U.S. dept. of Agriculture office at Louisa, Ky.
Survivors include her son, Danny R. Diamond and his wife, Pearlie, and her daughter-in-law Betty Diamond, all of Louisa, Ky. A grandson, Tom Diamond and two great grandchildren, Dustin and Thomas Diamond, all of Oklahoma also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 21 at the Young Funeral Home Chapel at Louisa, Ky. at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday February 20 from 4:00 – 9:00 pm.
