Joy Darlene Blankenship Calhoun, 74, of Ashland, Ky. passed away February 15, 2015 at Woodland Oaks Nursing and Rehab. in Ashland, Ky.
She was born May 21, 1940 in Louisa, Ky. a daughter of the late Shelby and Myrtle Berry Blankenship. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, John Daniel Blankenship; grandson, Jordan Patrick Keelin; sister, Irene Sparks; and brothers, Jim Blankenship and Ronald Blankenship.
Survivors include, daughters, Melissa Calhoun of Waterford MI.; Mary J. Moore of Louisa, Ky.; Kim Bryon of Ashland, Ky.; sons, Ronald Calhoun of Ashland, Ky.; Earl Calhoun Jr. of Waterford, MI.; sisters, Jackie Calhoun of Louisa, Ky.; Maxine Salyers of Louisa, Ky.; Shelby Wallace of Ashland, Ky.; brother, Bill Blankenship of Catlettsburg, Ky.; 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Granddaughters. She will be greatly missed by all.
