Gladys Marie Wellman
1918 – 2015
Gladys Marie Wellman, 96, of Prichard, W.V. passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Boyd Nursing and Rehab Center in Ashland, Ky.
She was born March 1, 1918 in Catlettsburg, Ky. a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian Bolt Elswick. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, John D. Riddle and George Wellman ;sons, Danny Riddle, Marion “Moon” Riddle, Samual Riddle; daughter, Constance Riddle; grandchildren John Riddle, and Kim Hewlett; 3 deceased brothers, 2 deceased sisters.
Survivors include, one son, Roger Riddle of Catlettsburg, Ky.; sister, Lillian DeMoss; grandchildren, Robin Ferguson of Catlettsburg, Ky.; Pam (Mike) Christian of South Point, Ohio; Ruth (Kenny) Bryan of Ashland, Ky.; Orville (Jennifer) Riddle of Stewart, Va.; Amanda Cordle of Catlettsburg, Ky.; 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild.
Graveside service will be conducted 2:30 pm Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Fannin Cemetery, Bear Creek, Catlettsburg, Ky.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm til 2:00 pm Saturday at Young Funeral Home.
