Six Arrested on Meth Charges in Louisa, Ky.

Six people face meth making charges following their arrests by Lawrence County, Ky. Sheriff’s Deputies on Tuesday night.
Chief Deputy Mark Wheeler says deputies went to a residence on Swift Lane to serve a warrant and follow up on an investigation involving the purchase of large amounts of Pseudoephedrine and possible meth activity.
While serving the warrant, the deputies say they observed numerous items of paraphernalia including a loaded syringe.
After obtaining a search warrant, the deputies say they found multiple syringes, plates with meth residue, prescription pills and other drug paraphernalia. They also located multiple items used to manufacture meth, including Lye, Lighter Fluid, and Sulfuric Acid.
Wheeler also says a recent shake and bake meth lab was found in the kitchen area along with several smoker bottles which still had fumes coming from them and a jar containing what was believed to be meth.
As a result of the search, Leslie Scott Triplett 39, Weslie R. Triplett, 39, Jamie L. Triplett 33, Steven L. Holbrook, 38, Larry Salyer, 50, and Shandra L. Wells, 41, all of Louisa. were arrested.
All six were charged with Manufacturing Meth with more charges pending.
Leslie Triplett and Steven Holbrook were also served with outstanding bench warrants. Holbrook is facing charges of RECKLESS DRIVING; FAILURE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS; CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
The Leslie Triplett was immediately taken to the Big Sandy Detention Center Tuesday evening, while the remaining five were taken to a local hospital to be decontaminated before being lodged in the Big Sandy Detention Center in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
