Newfred Blankenship, 84, of Fort Gay, W.V. passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Ky. He was born August 1, 1930, in Phelps, Ky. a son of the late Frank and Nancy Justice Blankenship. He was a retired services station owner.

Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda Jackson Blankenship of Fort Gay, W.V.; one daughter, Tammy (Eric) Hambrick of Wheelersburg, Ohio; sister, Geneva Castle of Fort Gay, W.V.; two grandchildren, Lauren and Evan Hambrick both of Wheelersburg, Ohio.
