Summary of Schaeffer arrest:
“…On January 14, 2015 at 22:35 officers were dispatched to the residence of Lisa and Jeff Schaeffer to investigate the report made by their minor child that his mother was trying to stab his father.
Sgt. Steven Wilburn and Ptl. Juluis Musick of the Louisa Police Department responded to the scene, upon investigation it was determined that Lisa Schaeffer and her husband Jeff Schaeffer had been involved in an argument over his lack of discipline on his son for having bad grades.
Further investigation showed that the argument had escalated to the point that Mrs. Schaeffer pulled a kitchen knife on her husband and made verbal threats to stab him. When Mrs. Schaeffer went toward the victim Jeff Schaeffer he was cut by her on his hand. Lisa Schaeffer was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Domestic Violence a class C felony and was logged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

LAWRENCE COUNTY ARRESTS – JANUARY 12-18, 2015
Lisa M. Schaeffer, 51, of Louisa, was arrested on January 15, 2015 at 12:54 A.M. by patrol officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE – DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
Lowell Justin Maynard, 26, of Louisa, turned himself in on January 12, 2015 at 6:28 P.M. to the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Gary D. Sizemore, 50, of Louisa, was arrested on January 14, 2015 at 6:47 P.M. by patrol officer Steven Wilburn of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: TRAFFICING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 2ND DEGREE, 1ST OFFENSE – (<20D.U.DRUG UNSPECIFIED SCHEDULE 3).
David Daniels, 38, of Louisa, was arrested on January 15, 2015 at 1:13 A.M. by patrol officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Deborah K. Fitch, 60, of Louisa, was arrested on January 15, 2015 at 7:45 P.M. by patrol officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Gary D. Brewer, 65, of Louisa, was arrested January 15, 2015 at 12:38 P.M. by Court Security Officer William Leedy of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: • CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Matthew Webb, 30, was arrested on January 15, 2015 at 11:23 p.M. by patrol officer Julius Musick of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Bruce E. Fields, 37, of Louisa was arrested on January 16, 2015 at 8:24 p.M. by patrol officer Jordan Miller of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with:
IMPROPER REGISTRATION PLATE; NO REGISTRATION PLATES; OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATING LICENSE; FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE; FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD; FAILURE OF OWNER TO MAINTAIN REQUIRED INSURANCE/SECURITY, 1ST OFFENSE; NO REGISTRATION RECEIPT; POSSESSING LICENSE WHEN PRIVILEGES ARE REVOKED; SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT.
Kenneth P. Halverson, 57, of Tennyson, Indiana, was arrested in Lawrence County at 8: 32 P.M. on January 16, 2015 by trooper Shane Copley of the Kentucky State Police, Ashland Post 14 and was charged with: POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON.
Mark R. Ellis, 51, of Louisa, turned himself in on January 16, 2015 at 5:30 P.M. to the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: CONTEMPT OF COURT LIBEL/SLANDER RESISTANCE TO ORDER.
Samuel D. Borders, 32, of Lomansville, Ky, was arrested January 16, 2015 at 1:30 A.M. by deputy Mason Keefer of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: SERVING BENCH WARRANT FOR COURT; SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT; ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE).
Chase Howard, 26, of Boonescamp, Ky, was arrested January 17, 2015 at 11:58 P.M. by chief deputy Mark Wheeler of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office, and was charged with: OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 4TH OR >; OPERATING ON SUSPENDED OR REVOKED OPERATING LICENSE; DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS; POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 3RD DEGREE – DRUG UNSPECIFIED.
Sheila L. Blackburn, 50, of Louisa, was arrested on January 17, 2015 at 9:09 P.M. by patrol officer Hunter James of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER/INFLUENCE ALCOHOL/DRUGS/ETC. .08 – 2ND OFFENSE; POSSESSION CONTROL SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE 1ST OFFENSE (DRUG UNSPECIFIED); DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS.
