Suspect didn’t like Christmas present…
Kyle Edward Porter, 23, Debord, KY, was arrested Dec. 25, 1.5 miles south of Louisa at 1504 St. Hwy. 3 on charges of Domestic Violence and Abuse, Duties of Law Enforcement.
According to the sheriff’s report, Deputy Mark Wheeler responded to the above address in reference to the above subject arguing and trying to fight with his mother. Mother advised that Porter got upset because he got new boots for Christmas instead of money. She said he had picked up a garden tool and threw it at his brother and the door. She thought it hit the brother, brother said it hit the porch in front of him. Porter had left the scene, but returned and was arguing again. Porter said he was tired of his brother running his mouth. Porter was taken into custody to avoid further trouble and for the safety of all involved, due to him leaving and coming back.
Lisa A. Ross, 50, Blaine, KY, was arrested Dec. 27, 23 miles west of Louisa at 3131 South Hwy. 21 and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Offense (drug unspecified).
Amy R. Gantt, 24, Louisa, KY, was arrested on Third Street in Louisa, and charged with Public Intoxication Controlled Substances. According to the police report, a call was received that a female was staggering up the road. Deputy Keefer observed Gantt on Third Street, she was uneasy on her feet and had slurred speech. She said she had taken a nerve pill. Gantt was manifestly under the influence of controlled substance, and was a danger to herself. Subject was wearing dark clothing and walking on unlighted streets.
