Greenup woman charged with residential burglary;
(Ashland, KY) — The Kentucky State Police in Ashland have arrested a Greenup County resident on theft related charges after she engaged in a residential burglary on McKay Road in Lloyd, KY on July 28, 2011. Rebecca Peterman, age 25, of Greenup, KY was arrested after she turned herself into the Greenup County Detention Center yesterday evening.
Peterman and two other suspects were involved with the residential burglary involving the theft of several miscellaneous items including jewelry, clothing, and electronic items. The suspects forcibly entered the residence by prying open the door.
Peterman was charged with 1 count of Burglary 2nd, Theft by Unlawful Taking o/500, and Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree.
Additional arrests of the other two suspects are pending.
The case is still under investigation by Trooper Tony Burch. He is being assisted by Deputy Matt Smith of the Greenup County Sheriff’s Department.
